Album Notes:
A mixture of dense exploratory ambient psych rock. Maybe with hints of the Cocteau Twins. Plus some Terry Riley and Philip Glass. And Hendrix in his more introspective depths. Swirling forms that morph into each other. And don't always fully resolve.

It's a mysterious album. Even for me. Highly syncopated. Especially for solo electric guitar music. Although it also somehow manages to (mostly) keep tempo.

Admittedly, I was interested in pushing electric guitar music into zones that are difficult to verbally describe. With overlapping effects that swim into each other's seas. Yet are grounded by a steady echo pulse beat.

Spontaneously composed. With no band to get in the way, the music emerged at the threshold of formation, and went wherever it wanted to go. I was mainly just the hands that played it.

The album is as minimal as psych rock gets. One solo guitar. One track. One take. No loops. No overdubs. Some basic effects.

My viewpoint? I made the album I'd always wanted to make. It just took awhile. And the guts to make it.
